Deleting Documents from SharePoint
You should only delete documents from SharePoint once you have received the relevant approval from the document or folder owner. It important as part of our information management process we have an audit on what files are uploaded, downloaded and deleted from SharePoint.
To delete a file, identify the file in the relevant folder and hover your mouse over the top of it. You can delete the file by clicking the circle next to the file name and then from the top menu bar, select delete. Or while your hovering your mouse above the file, three dots will appear. Select that to show the drop down menu and select delete.

Note: The site owner and / or Technology Team can recover deleted files from the recycle bin
